A Florida man has been charged with theft of property by fraud and deception valued over $10,000 in a mold removal scam locally. Bryan Merritt, 41, of Pensacola, contracted with a local resident through a company called Clean Indoor Air, LLC, to remove mold from her residence. The resident says mold was not removed and the operation was a scam. Merritt is due in court this morning.
