Former Councilmember Files for Bolivar Mayor's Job



Brenda Woods, a former Bolivar City Councilwoman has picked up a petition to run for the job of Mayor of Bolivar. In 2010, Woods was convicted on three charges related to voter fraud and lost her right to vote and hold public office. The conviction was overturned in 2012 by the Court of Criminal Appeals. Woods also re-registered to vote on Monday.
