Guilty Plea in Jackson Jewwlry Heist



The man responsible for the largest jewelry heist in the city’s history has been sentenced to six years for robbery and six years each on two counts of kidnapping. Lee Triplett remains free on $200,000 bond awaiting beginning his sentence. Triplett, who entered a guilty plea yesterday in Madison County Circuit Court, has also ordered to pay $57,443.01 in restitution to Little’s Jewelers.
