A major West Tennessee employer since 1941 says goodbye to its employees after yesterday. The Milan Army Ammunition plant, as it was called for over 7 decades, will be no more. Only a skeleton crew remains at the facility to close things out at the plant that employed 6,000 people just prior to the Korean War.
