Union University Sickness Confirmed as Norovirus



The state Health Department has confirmed that norovirus is what sickened hundreds of students and staff at Union University last week causing the school to cancel classes on two days. Health department officials spent the last several days running tests to try to determine what caused the outbreak.  Norovirus is estimated to cause more than 70,000 hospitalizations and 800 deaths each year in the U.S.
