Addressing the Jackson Rotary Club meeting on Wednesday, Madison County Mayor Jimmy Harris reports that employment rates have increased locally. Mayor Harris also said the sales tax base has recovered to figures the county has not seen since before the 2007 recession. Harris told the Jackson Sun, “I believe we’re at least pretty stable right now”.
