The Jackson-Madison County School system has named Rose Hill Middle School’s Patricia Ayers as the 2012-2013 Grades 5 thru 8 Teacher of the Year for the Southwest District. Ayers began her career in 1965 and has taught language arts, math, social studies, economics and other subjects. She has also coached tennis, swimming softball and basketball. Ayers received her Masters Degree from Memphis State University.
